  Tajima And Dallenbach Will Continue Rivalry At 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb On July 8   Colorado Springs, January 30----------------It’s official. Japan’s Nobuhiro Tajima will return to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on July 8 seeking a seventh straight crown in the Unlimited division and an attempt to lower his record of 9:51.278 set last summer, the first driver ever to crack the 10-minute barrier. Tajima will have his hands full in the showcase class again, because also coming back will be six-time Open Wheel champion Paul Dallenbach of Basalt, Colorado, a proven performer who was sidelined last year by a broken axel after finishing second behind Tajima in 2010. The popular star has competed in the event 16 times.      Fort Carson to Host the 2012 USA Boxing National Championships, February 27-March 3   COLORADO SPRINGS------ The 2012 USA Boxing National Championships will return to a familiar city in 2012, but the event will take place in a new and unique venue for the all-important 2012 edition.    Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Legend Rod Millen Set To Return Again For The 90th Edition Of The Race To The Clouds Colorado Springs, December 20---------Just in time for Christmas, organizers of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb received a special gift today. Rod Millen, who has won nine class crowns in the famed event, will be back again on July 8 in the Time Attack division in his 2WD Hyundai Genesis Coupe after winning the event’s 2WD showdown in 2011 with a record clocking of 11:04.912. New Zealand racing legend Millen won the Unlimited division on the Peak five times (1994, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999) and held the old overall record of 10:04.06 until Nobuhiro Tajima of Japan broke it in 2007. His return last summer at the age of 60 and his winning performance was one of the highlights of the event.
