2017 Colorado Classic - Stage 1

Race Information

Professional bicycle racing returns to Colorado August 10-13, 2017 with a 2.HC four-stage race sanctioned by UCI featuring some of the world's best women's & men's teams.

  • Stage 1, August 10:  Colorado Springs (women & men)
  • Stage 2, August 11:  Breckenridge (men); Denver circuit race in RiNo Art District (women)
  • Stage 3, August 12:  Denver (men) start and finish in RiNo Art District
  • Stage 4, August 13:  Denver (men) start and finish in RiNo Art District, and closing festivities

Each day’s competition will showcase an interactive start/finish area; and the daily routes will combine downtown circuits of each city with the beauty of Colorado’s legendary terrain and landmarks.

  • Colorado Classic Women's Professional Cycling Race - 10:00 - 11:30 am (estimated)  
    • Approximately 72 of the world's top professional women cyclists
    • Start - 10:00 am
    • Finish - 11:30 am (estimated)

  • Road Closures

    • Closures for the Colorado Classic, as well as road construction and other hazards, are published into the Waze navigation app (iOS & Android devices), helping citizens move around town efficiently and safely.
