Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack
June 16-17 
- Colorado Springs Airport
Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack is a half-mile, side-by-side roll race and trap speed competition featuring hundreds of the fastest, most powerful street cars in the nation. The Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack is the only event in the country where participants have the opportunity to come together at a commercial airport the size and importance of the Colorado Springs Airport while competing for the title of the Mile High Victor.

June 24 - Pikes Peak - America's Mountain
The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo, will celebrate the 96th running of the Race to the Clouds on Sunday, June 24. Thousands of fans and auto racing enthusiasts will come from around the world to witness America's 2nd oldest auto race and participate in Fan Fest downtown Colorado Springs on Friday, June 22.

June 29
Haute Route, the world's most prestigious multi-day event series for amateur cyclists, will host the second edition of the Mavic Haute Route Rockies. Kicking off in the official start city of Boulder, Colo. on June 23, 2018, the seven-day event spans 527.8 miles with over 50,000 feet of climbing before ending in Colorado Springs, Olympic City USA. The Mavic Haute Route Rockies 2018 course includes an epic climb over 14,000 feet to the summit of Pikes Peak-America's Mountain, one of the most famous summits in the United States and one of only two paved roads above 14,000 feet in the United States, during the final stage.

July 20-22 & 27-29 - Colorado Springs
The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is Colorado's largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. This year marks the 17th annual event and more than 10,000 athletes are expected to participate in 40+ sports! Early registration discounts are available at

August 11 - Pikes Peak Highway
The Broadmoor Pikes Peak Cycling Hill Climb will join the inaugural  "Colorado Summit Series" which features some of the toughest hill climbs in the world including the Guanella Pass Hill Climb (June 3) and Bob Cook Memorial Mt. Evans Hill Climb (July 21).  This new and unique cycling series will finish at the Pikes Peak Cycling Hill Climb on August 11
The events will feature competitive races & timed, non-competitive fun rides that give cyclists of all abilities a truly unique experience on Pikes Peak - America's Mountain.

September 1-3 - Memorial Park
The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off continues a 42-year tradition of a hot air balloon event in Colorado Springs. This historical event has been one of the top ten largest hot air balloon events in the United States and will draw more than 150,000 attendees to Memorial Park over the holiday weekend.
Event goers will enjoy early morning balloon launches and evening balloon glows as well as fun for the entire family, including a wakeboarding exhibition, concert series, family fun-zone and several sports expositions. 
Each morning first wave of balloons will lift off at 7:00 a.m. and balloon glows will occur at 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday evening with live music to entertain. 
MEDIA DAY:Limited space is available and applications are required for media personnel who would like to participate in the balloon rides during Labor Day Lift Off Media Day on Friday, August 31 from 6:00-9:00 a.m. at Memorial Park. To submit an application and learn more, click here
