Rocky Mountain State Games

July 17-19 & 24-26

The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is Colorado’s largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. This year marks the 18th annual event and more than 6,000-8,000 athletes are expected to participate in 20+ sports! Early registration discounts are available at

Labor Day Lift Off

September 5-7

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off continues a 44-year tradition of a hot air balloon event in Colorado Springs. This historical event has been one of the top ten largest hot air balloon events in the United States and will draw more than 165,000 attendees to Memorial Park over the holiday weekend.

Event goers will enjoy early morning balloon launches and evening balloon glows as well as fun for the entire family!

Each morning first wave of balloons will lift off at 7:00 a.m. and balloon glows will occur at 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday evening with live music to entertain.

MEDIA DAY:Limited space is available and applications are required for media personnel who would like to participate in the balloon rides during Labor Day Lift Off Media Day on Friday, September 4 from 6:00-9:00 a.m. at Memorial Park. To submit an application and learn more, click here.
