The Colorado Springs Philharmonic and Colorado Springs Sports Corporation are excited to present the Star Spangled Symphony & July 4th Block Party – a free concert and block party at the Pikes Peak Center in downtown Colorado Springs on July 4, 2022 as an addition to the annual 4th of July Symphony on Your Porch.

“For nearly 50 years the Colorado Springs Philharmonic has played a central role in the July 4th celebration in our city with a free performance of patriotic music,” says Nathan Newbrough, Philharmonic CEO & President. “I’m proud to say we’re back, and this time right where the action is, in downtown Colorado Springs, while also being broadcast throughout the region for one unforgettable concert.”

An All-American Celebration: In addition to the indoor concert, the adjacent street outside of the Pikes Peak Center will be closed for a block party to include food vendors, beer garden and simultaneous broadcast of the concert outside on the north lawn.

Megan Leatham, President & CEO of the Colorado Sports Corporation said, “We are thrilled to announce the addition of the Star Spangled Symphony & July 4th Block Party to this year’s celebration. There is truly no better place to celebrate the 4th of July than in downtown Colorado Springs. Thank you to the Colorado Springs Philharmonic for collaborating with us to make it happen.”

Festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. with the 80-minute concert beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Pikes Peak Center (190 S. Cascade).
