Note: Division is determined by the highest skill on the team and the age of the youngest member of the team as of December 31, 2022. Identification is required at check in to verify age.
USA Pickleball Association (usapa.org) rules will govern this competition. The tournament format will be a round-robin format. Rather than possibly being out in two games (double-elimination format in previous years), players will play everyone within their specific event/bracket. Depending upon the number of teams in your bracket, games will be either 1 to 11, 1 to 15, or 2/3 to 11. The Commissioner reserves the right to cancel or combine divisions based on the number of entries in each division. Round Robin events will be self-officiated. RMSG will work to coordinate officials for all medal rounds. Medals will be awarded by skill and age divisions. Tournament will be limited to 150 participants daily on a first come, first serve basis. Brackets are determined by the highest skill in the team and the age of the youngest member of the team as of December 31, 2022. Minimum player age is 16 (athletes under the age of 19 will compete in the 19+ division). Max two events (1 men’s or women’s team and 1 mixed team). Identification is required at check in to verify age. Max two events (1 male or female team and 1 mixed team). Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
*RMSG will allow refunds up to June 1 at RMSG Director and Commissioner discretion as long as the division has a waitlist to fill the vacant spot with alternate player(s). For refund requests, please contact Commissioner.
