Downtown WinterFest – Beijing

February 5 – Downtown Colorado Springs

The Downtown WinterFest – Beijing is a continuation of a biennial celebration of the Olympic & Paralympics Games. It is expected to be the largest attended winter event in downtown Colorado Springs in 2022 and will be held in conjunction with programming at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum and the City of Colorado Springs’ COS 150: Downtown Celebration, celebrating Colorado Springs’ founding.


Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

June 26 – Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain

The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo, will celebrate the 100th running of the Race to the Clouds on Sunday, June 26. Thousands of fans and auto racing enthusiasts will come from around the world to witness America’s 2nd oldest auto race.

4th of July Symphony on Your Porch

July 4 – Colorado Springs

Get ready for the largest 4th of July event with fireworks erupting across the Pikes Peak Region from several different locations. Enjoy the City of Colorado Springs’ annual tradition of a patriotic symphony performance on your favorite local radio station – all from your porch!

Rocky Mountain State Games

July 22-24 & 29-31 – Colorado Springs

The Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is Colorado’s largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. This year marks the 20th annual event!


More than 900 volunteers are needed to successfully run this event. CLICK HERE to volunteer for the Rocky Mountain State Games.

The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit

August 13 – Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain

The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit features a competitive race sanctioned by USA Cycling and a Gran Fondo (non-competitive fun ride) that give cyclists of all abilities a truly unique experience on Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. This year’s race will feature a competitive E-bike category in addition to the E-bike exhibition. This event attracts the top competitive and recreational cyclists from across the nation and around the world.

Labor Day Lift Off

September 3-5 – Memorial Park

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off continues a 46-year tradition of a hot air balloon event in Colorado Springs. This historical event has been one of the top ten largest hot air balloon events in the United States and will draw more than 150,000 attendees to Memorial Park over the holiday weekend.

Event goers will enjoy early morning balloon launches and evening balloon glows as well as fun for the entire family, including a concert series, family fun-zone and several sports expositions.

Pikes Peak Regional AirShow

September 24-25 – Colorado Springs Airport

The Pikes Peak Regional Air Show is taking flight in Colorado Springs on September 24-25! In partnership with the Pikes Peak Regional Air Show and National Museum of WWII Aviation, the air show will be held at the Colorado Springs Airport, which provides for excellent viewing of aircraft in flight. Join us as we celebrate the unique history of restored and contemporary aircraft through skilled performances, static displays, KidZone, food, vendors, activities, and much more. This will be an event you don’t want to miss!
