What is State Games of America and who can participate?
The State Games of America is an Olympic-style event featuring competition between State Games medal winners (gold, silver, bronze) from across the nation. There are currently 30 states conducting or organizing statewide sports festivals known as State Games. See the eligibility page for more information on how to get qualified.
If I qualified in my local State Games but moved to a different state, do I need to re-qualify in the state that I moved to?
No, you will not need to re-qualify.
If I medaled in a previous State Games of America, am I eligible to compete in the 2022 State Games of America?
Yes, any medalists from the 2019 State Games of America are eligible to compete in 2022 if they participate in a NCSG Summer or Winter Games event in their state between July 1, 2019 – July 1, 2022.
